A QUIET SECOND MEMORY

Catch renewals
before they cost you.

Annual renewals are easy to overlook because the decision and the payment can be months apart. Tomorly is being designed to catch the renewal date, cost and provider early enough for you to decide whether it's still worth keeping.

The recognisable problem

You signed up for Squarespace last September, built the site over a couple of weekends, and haven’t thought about it since. Twelve months later, £240 leaves your account in one go — for a renewal you never actually decided to make. Nothing was hidden exactly; it was in the original sign-up email the whole time. You just had no reason to remember it was there.

A QUIET SECOND MEMORY

Forward it.
Forget it.

Tomorly catches the renewals, trials and deadlines that quietly cost you.

How it works

SEND IT

Forward an email, upload an image or add the information yourself.

TOMORLY CATCHES IT

Tomorly identifies the provider, amount, important date and likely action. When information is uncertain, it asks one focused question rather than pretending to know.

YOU GET TIME TO ACT

Tomorly creates scheduled reminders and keeps the item visible until the outcome is confirmed.

How Tomorly interprets this

Tomorly is not simply creating an ordinary calendar entry. For each event, it aims to understand who or what it relates to, the amount involved, the important date, whether it repeats, what action may be required, how confident it is, where the information came from, and what happened afterwards.

Tomorly preserves the source evidence, explains why it reached its conclusion, and asks for confirmation when something is unclear — rather than guessing and presenting a guess as fact.

Why not just use a calendar?

Ordinary calendar

Remembers what you already know and manually enter. It has no way to notice something you haven't typed in yourself.

Manual reminder app

Lets you set a reminder once you've already spotted the date — but the work of finding, reading and deciding still sits with you.

Tomorly

Is being designed to find what matters inside the information you already receive, structure it, remind you early and retain the context needed to make a decision.

Finding and reviewing renewals

Where renewal dates normally appear

Usually in the original sign-up confirmation, a receipt from a year ago, or a single line inside a longer billing email — not somewhere you'd think to look again until the charge has already gone through.

Why annual subscriptions are easily missed

The decision to sign up and the payment for renewing it can sit twelve months apart. By the time the charge lands, most people have no memory of agreeing to it.

Which confirmation and renewal emails to keep

Keep the original sign-up confirmation (it usually states the renewal date and price) and any “renews automatically” or “upcoming charge” notice — these are the two documents that matter most if you ever need to query a charge.

How to review a subscription before renewal

Ask three questions: have you used it in the last three months, does a cheaper or annual-discount plan exist, and would you sign up for it today if you saw the price fresh.

The difference between cancelling renewal and deleting an account

Deleting an app or closing a browser tab rarely cancels a subscription. Cancellation almost always has to happen inside the provider's own billing settings, or by contacting them directly.

How to record what happened afterwards

Save the cancellation confirmation email, and note the date access actually ends — some subscriptions keep working until the end of the paid period rather than stopping immediately.

BUILT FROM REAL LIFE

For someone I love. Useful to everyone.

Tomorly started with my wife. She is a brilliant business owner and mum of two, with far more important things to think about than free trials, car tax and forgotten renewals.

I look after our household finances, but I am forever asking whether something has been cancelled, renewed or dealt with. Sometimes we still miss things.

So I started building Tomorly.

A quiet second memory that catches everyday admin early, explains what matters and gives you time to act.

No judgement. No complicated system to maintain. Just one less thing to remember.
