Free trials are easy to start and surprisingly difficult to remember. Tomorly is being designed to recognise when a trial ends, what it will cost afterwards and when you need to make a decision.

The recognisable problem
You started a seven-day free trial on a Friday evening, meaning to properly try it over the weekend. Life got in the way. By the time you remembered, the trial had already converted, and £29 had left your account for a plan you never actually decided to keep.

How it works
SEND IT

TOMORLY CATCHES IT
Tomorly identifies the provider, amount, important date and likely action. When information is uncertain, it asks one focused question rather than pretending to know.
YOU GET TIME TO ACT
Tomorly creates scheduled reminders and keeps the item visible until the outcome is confirmed.
How Tomorly interprets this
Tomorly is not simply creating an ordinary calendar entry. For each trial, it aims to understand the provider, the future price, the important date, whether it repeats, what action may be required, how confident it is, where the information came from, and what happened afterwards.
Tomorly preserves the source evidence, explains why it reached its conclusion, and asks for confirmation when something is unclear — rather than guessing and presenting a guess as fact.
TRIAL CONFIRMATION ARRIVES
Suggested reminders: 3 days and 1 day before the trial converts.
Keep or Cancel — outcome recorded either way

Why not just use a calendar?
Ordinary calendar
Remembers what you already know and manually enter. It has no way to notice something you haven't typed in yourself.
Manual reminder app
Lets you set a reminder once you've already spotted the date — but the work of finding, reading and deciding still sits with you.
Tomorly
Is being designed to find what matters inside the information you already receive, structure it, remind you early and retain the context needed to make a decision.
Keeping track of a free trial
Record the trial on the day you begin
The moment you sign up is the easiest moment to note the length, the price after conversion and the date it starts charging — it only gets harder to reconstruct from memory afterwards.
Check whether payment starts automatically
Most free trials require a card upfront and convert to a paid plan automatically unless you cancel — treat this as the default assumption unless the sign-up page says otherwise.
Look for monthly versus annual billing
Some trials convert to a monthly plan, others to a full annual charge. The difference between the two is usually stated once, at sign-up, and rarely repeated afterwards.
Identify the cancellation route early
Find where cancellation actually happens — account settings, a support email, or a phone call — before the trial ends, not while you're trying to beat the deadline.
Avoid assuming deleting an app cancels the account
Removing an app from your phone almost never cancels the underlying subscription. The account, and the billing, usually continue exactly as before.
Keep cancellation confirmation
A cancellation without a confirmation email is hard to prove later. Save it, the same way you'd keep a receipt.

BUILT FROM REAL LIFE
For someone I love. Useful to everyone.
Tomorly started with my wife. She is a brilliant business owner and mum of two, with far more important things to think about than free trials, car tax and forgotten renewals.
I look after our household finances, but I am forever asking whether something has been cancelled, renewed or dealt with. Sometimes we still miss things.
So I started building Tomorly.
A quiet second memory that catches everyday admin early, explains what matters and gives you time to act.
No judgement. No complicated system to maintain. Just one less thing to remember.
Remember the trial before the trial remembers your card.
