VEHICLE ADMIN

Give yourself more
than one chance to remember.

Vehicle deadlines can become expensive and embarrassing when they're missed. Tomorly is being designed to keep tax, insurance, MOT and other vehicle dates visible alongside the rest of your household admin.

The recognisable problem

The DVLA reminder went to an old address, or an inbox you don’t check often, or simply arrived while you were away. Car tax has a way of becoming due at the exact moment it’s least convenient to notice — and unlike a subscription, driving untaxed has consequences that show up fast.

Tomorly does not replace official DVLA, insurer or government notifications. It’s designed as an additional personal and household organisation layer — a second place these dates live, alongside the official ones, not instead of them.

How it works

SEND IT

Forward an email, upload an image or add the information yourself.

TOMORLY CATCHES IT

Tomorly identifies the provider, amount, important date and likely action. When information is uncertain, it asks one focused question rather than pretending to know.

YOU GET TIME TO ACT

Tomorly creates scheduled reminders and keeps the item visible until the outcome is confirmed.

How Tomorly interprets this

For a vehicle deadline, Tomorly aims to understand which vehicle it relates to, the deadline itself, whether it repeats annually, what action is needed, how confident it is, and what you eventually decided — renewed, sold, or no longer your responsibility.

Why not just use a calendar?

Ordinary calendar

Remembers what you already know and manually enter. It has no way to notice something you haven't typed in yourself.

Manual reminder app

Lets you set a reminder once you've already spotted the date — but the work of finding, reading and deciding still sits with you.

Tomorly

Is being designed to find what matters inside the information you already receive, structure it, remind you early and retain the context needed to make a decision.

Vehicle admin, made less risky

Where to confirm official vehicle information

GOV.UK's own vehicle tax and MOT checkers hold the authoritative dates — Tomorly is an additional personal view alongside them, not a replacement for checking there directly.

Which vehicle dates should be tracked

Tax renewal, MOT expiry, insurance renewal and, for some households, breakdown cover — the same handful of dates come round every year, usually on different days from each other.

Why ownership changes should be recorded

Selling, scrapping or handing a car to another family member is exactly when a reminder that was previously correct becomes wrong — worth updating deliberately, not left to go stale.

Keeping evidence that tax or insurance has been renewed

A confirmation email or renewed certificate is worth keeping somewhere findable — useful if a payment is ever queried, or if a reminder needs cross-checking.

Shared visibility for family vehicles

When more than one person in a household might reasonably renew a car’s tax or insurance, a shared view avoids both people assuming the other has handled it.

What to do when the date is uncertain

If a date can’t be confirmed with reasonable confidence, treat that as information in itself — Tomorly is designed to ask rather than guess in exactly this situation.

BUILT FROM REAL LIFE

For someone I love. Useful to everyone.

Tomorly started with my wife. She is a brilliant business owner and mum of two, with far more important things to think about than free trials, car tax and forgotten renewals.

I look after our household finances, but I am forever asking whether something has been cancelled, renewed or dealt with. Sometimes we still miss things.

So I started building Tomorly.

A quiet second memory that catches everyday admin early, explains what matters and gives you time to act.

No judgement. No complicated system to maintain. Just one less thing to remember.

Give future you a little more notice.
