Find the subscriptions
quietly taking money from your account.
A forgotten subscription rarely looks dramatic. It’s usually a small payment that keeps appearing because the original decision has been forgotten. This guide explains how to find those payments, confirm what they relate to, and decide what should happen next.

The recognisable problem
£4.99 leaves your account every month for an app you tried once, eighteen months ago. It’s not enough to notice on its own — that’s exactly why it’s still there. Forgotten subscriptions are rarely one large mistake; they’re several small ones, quietly repeating.

How it works
SEND IT
Forward an email, upload an image or add the information yourself.
TOMORLY CATCHES IT
Tomorly identifies the provider, amount, important date and likely action. When information is uncertain, it asks one focused question rather than pretending to know.
YOU GET TIME TO ACT
Tomorly creates scheduled reminders and keeps the item visible until the outcome is confirmed.
Where this stands today
To be clear about what’s real and what’s intended: Tomorly does not currently connect to your bank account or email account automatically. The routes below are what the first version is being built around.
BEING BUILT FIRST
- Forwarding an email to Tomorly
- Uploading a screenshot
- Adding an item manually
PLANNED, NOT YET BUILT
- Direct email connectivity
- Open banking / bank alerts
- Automatic statement scanning
Why not just use a calendar?
Ordinary calendar
Remembers what you already know and manually enter. It has no way to notice something you haven't typed in yourself.
Manual reminder app
Lets you set a reminder once you've already spotted the date — but the work of finding, reading and deciding still sits with you.
Tomorly
Is being designed to find what matters inside the information you already receive, structure it, remind you early and retain the context needed to make a decision.
The seven-step review
1. Review recent bank and card statements
Small, recurring amounts are the ones that hide best — look specifically for the same figure repeating monthly or annually.
2. Search email for renewal-shaped words
“renewal”, “subscription”, “membership”, “trial”, “invoice” and “receipt” surface most of what a plain scroll through your inbox would miss.
3. Separate monthly charges from annual renewals
Annual charges are easier to forget precisely because they’re rarer — worth a dedicated pass, not just a glance at last month’s statement.
4. Check Apple, Google and PayPal subscription settings
A meaningful share of subscriptions are billed through a platform rather than the provider directly, and won’t show up searching the provider’s name alone.
5. Confirm the correct cancellation process
The provider’s own billing settings or support channel is the reliable route — not deleting an app, and not assuming a free trial simply lapses on its own.
6. Save the cancellation confirmation
A confirmation email is the easiest way to prove a cancellation actually happened, if a charge appears after the fact.
7. Record any remaining access or final payment date
Some cancellations take effect immediately; others let you keep access until the paid period ends. Worth noting which applies, so nothing feels like a surprise.

BUILT FROM REAL LIFE
For someone I love. Useful to everyone.
Tomorly started with my wife. She is a brilliant business owner and mum of two, with far more important things to think about than free trials, car tax and forgotten renewals.
I look after our household finances, but I am forever asking whether something has been cancelled, renewed or dealt with. Sometimes we still miss things.
So I started building Tomorly.
A quiet second memory that catches everyday admin early, explains what matters and gives you time to act.
No judgement. No complicated system to maintain. Just one less thing to remember.
